Steps to download the HP printer drivers for Mac Yosemite

  1. The latest version of the HP printer drivers for your MAC Yosemite can be downloaded from 123hp-com.com/macdriverdownload
  2. Download the printer driver:
    • The HP Easy Start guided installation app is available:
      • The onscreen instructions on the website will lead you to the driver download page
      • If the HP Easy Start has opened but the driver is not downloaded:
      • Verify the computer’s connection to the network
      • Try to download with instructions again
    • The prompt with request you to enter your printer model name
    • Confirm the version of your operating system
    • Under Driver-Product Installation Software, click on Download next to the HP Easy Start
    • The Downloads folder will contain the printer driver download
    • Install the HP print driver from the Downloads folder:
      • During installation choose the connection type (USB, Wireless or Wired) according to the printer preferences

    • In the Apple menu, click on Print & Fax
    • Then click on Printers & Scanners
    • The printers list will display the name of your HP printer
    • Confirm your printer’s communication – Remove and Re-add the printer:
    • Click on your printer’s name
    • Remove it by selecting the Minus sign
    • Click on the Plus sign
    • Select Add Printer or Scanner
    • Click on your HP printer name to add it
    • Click on the Use or Print Using menu
    • Select your printer name
    • Click on Add – This will add the printer to the printer’s list
    • When prompted, click Download & Install to complete installation for software installation
    • Close System Preferences
    • Print a test page
